I didn't know what OLM was so I googled it. It's a salamander! So, I still don't know what you are asking.

Oil life monitor? I don't know. Check your owner's manual.

It's not mentioned in the factory sales brochure <http://www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Ford/F-150/Ford_US%20F-150_2008.pdf>. OTOH my 2010 has the monitor and it's not listed in the 2010 brochure either.

You have to look in your owner's manual. I provided a link to it.

I just did your work for you - there is no mention of one in the owner's manual.

Your truck doesnt have the intelligent oil life monitor like the new units do. It will only keep track of mileage and not take in consideration idle time, outside temp, towing etc like the new vehicles do. On f150 i believe it started in 2015.

I don't think that it's covered in the owner's manual but I didn't look. Anyway there's a button on the instrument panel that selects the different items to be displayed. Turn the ignition to the run position (with or without starting the engine), then push and release the button until you get to the item that says "Push and Hold button for System Check". Push and hold the button for few seconds and the first item that comes up is the percentage of oil life remaining. If you push and release the button it will step through other items such as the battery voltage, software revision and others. But IIRC if you push and hold the button when the oil life is displayed it will reset it back to 100%.

I looked in the manual at both the mini message center and the message center, and there's no mention of oil life. Maybe there is, but it certainly isn't addressed.

It's there on mine. I went out and checked it to be sure that I had all of the steps right immediately before typing the message. Mine is a 2010 model FX-4 built in 2009.
