Please define the "works".

Did you replace both chains, tensioners, guides, phasers, solenoids, and oil pump?

2007 Fords don't have igniters or distributors. They use coil on plug.

Have you scanned for codes? More details on work done and how exactly it died the first time would help.

If no codes I would check fuel pressure first, should be schrader valve on the rail you can use to do this.

No Schrader valve on the 2004 and newer systems. It uses a FPDM instead of a FPR. You need a scanner to read out the fuel pressure PID.

That brings something up - check the backside of the FPDM and its connector for corrosion. Common issue.
