Question engine change

I am not to sure about these sort of things so I thought maybe you guys would know the answer I have a 2004 F150 some jack wagon steals an oil filter off my truck, after 2200 miles i dont think it would just disappear my engine is a 4.6l romeo new style and the stockyard is trying to send me one from an 07 its a 4.6 romeo but the intakes are complete different the motor has not shipped i dont believe it will for a few more days. The problem is the intake is completely different and he told me that I would have to change everything over intake sensors injectors and so forth voiding out the warranty is what it sounded like to me my question is can i just bolt up the motor as is and the computer should make the proper adjustments right? The 8th. digit is a W on both motors my intake looks to be I want to say a high rise its an aluminum intake the other for the 07 is a low sits across the engine kind of like the intake on the mustang as long the engine mounts and bolt pattern match both trucks do have the same 4R70E transmission if someone here can make sens of this question i would be very appreciative and thank you.

They switched to the low profile manifold in 2007. You need a 04-06 engine or you do need to swap manifolds.
