Replacement Headlight Assembly?

Guys I am looking for a good set of replacement headlight assemblies and some nice bright regular (not led) bulbs. There seems to be a lot of crap out there and I thought I would ask first.
Not looking for anything fancy just good housings that will last and wont fog up or leak. I would like more light but live on small twisty roads in the mountains and don't want to blind my neighbors.

Thanks

What are you working on? We can't see it through the Internet.

Well, they do, but sometimes folks post stuff in these forums and don't specify... we do research, and the OP says, "Oh, I meant for my Kia Rio..." or something like that. Now, I'd hope the poster wouldn't sign up for a F150 forum to ask about Kia Rios... but sometimes folks do because there are lot of smart people on here...

Now, as far as headlights, the best in terms of incandescent are the stock ones. If your lights are clouded up, I suggest replacing them.

Heck, for what it's worth, the Washington Post just did a write up on this... https://www.washingtonpost.com/transportation/2018/12/11/aging-headlights-pose-risk-motorists-pedestrians-aaa-says/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.608c7bf58147

Its actually hard to tell if you are getting stock headlight assemblies online. places like rockauto list several and no way to tell oem from aftermarket. I was hoping for a brand or model number and some info on better than stock bulbs.
Thanks

Ford part #'s:
7L3Z-13008-FA - Right
7L3Z-13008-GA - Left

You can get them from Tasca: https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-part...omponents-scat

Looks like the Tasca one that is OEM, only costs a few bucks more...

I use Silverstar Ultra bulbs in my 2003 with stock housings.

For the price of those housings, I think I'd pull yours, clean and reseal them, and do a restoration on the plastic.

Why are you replacing the light housing? Is it damaged, cracked, broken, someone shot it out?

If it's simply a yellow, hazy, lens; clean them. Plenty of kits on the market. When I'm unsure, I tend to favor a brand I've heard of. Maybe something like 3M. or Mothers.

I've seen replacement headlight housings for about $70 per pair online. No idea how good they are. If you want perfection, then go with the OEM part.

I now use LED. When I used Halogen, Hella was my lamp of choice.

Try toothpaste first. You already have toothpaste at home, so it won't cost you anything, whether it works or not.
