Advice on replacing rear axle brake lines

2004 FX4 - Over the weekend my truck busted open the brake line feeding the right rear - happened right where there is a clamp/bracket at the top of the differential. Fluid spraying out like a bust artery! Gave me a fright - and also the poor woman whose 2000 Toyota 4-runner ended up stopping my truck. ( I did still have some brakes but not enough to stop in time, at least when I wasn't expecting it).

So new lines are on order - for both sides. But I am anticipating problems given that everything under there has been sitting for 15 years. Any advice or pointers? TIA
