2008 Ford F-150-

Can the blinking red light on the dash be removed or disabled- I think it is discharging my battery

That will not discharge a battery quickly.

You should do some testing with a DMM in the fuse box. See what exactly is the draw.

Or it could be the battery itself with an internal short.
