After market LED Headlights

Anyone installed the LED headlight assemblies available on a '04-'09 F150? I want to update the front end of my truck but I don't want to give up function for form. Do these lights perform better/worse/no difference?

Switched to projectors and hids instead of led. Clean cut off lines so you don't blind everyone.

You need to be real careful about swapping anything with headlights. Some areas the modification of any kind to a headlight will get your truck hauled to the pound. Around here, it has to be factory original replacement and it MUST have the DOT number on the headlight lens. Since I have no idea where you're at, it might be a major issue then again, maybe the cops don't care there. But I'd ask around before spending any kind of money on different headlights.

Did not think of that; thanks for the tip.

Yes and x2 on what Labnerd states.

If you do plan on swapping headlights, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you align and aim them correctly. I'm sure you don't like getting blinded, neither do others.

^^Is the reason why the police crack down on it -- it really is a safety risk if they aren't aimed right.

Same thing with lifts. People lift there trucks and never thing to re aim. Most of the aftermarket housings had dot numbers on them. But there is two main designs so I would bet they come from the same factory.
