Which Phasers

So ill be in the market for some new cam phasers this spring. OEM are so expensive so i was looking into an alternate. Dorman have HORRIBLE reviews so who has aftermarket that are holding up?

Nobody put in cam phasers? Ive searched the forum but can't get any good info on brands of phasers.

or can someone recommend a complete kit with phasers, solenoids, chains ,sprocket, tensioners , etc.
do the whole front at once. i hear there are updated tensioners. i would like to overhaul the front end
just to make sure. as said above .someone has done this. any help appreciated.--irv

So Irvin, since we are the only ones interested in this, I'll let you know my plan. I believe that the reason some of the aftermarket phasers dont last is because of lack of oil pressure at idle. Our trucks are known for this. There is an entire kit on amazon for around $185 with no bad reviews. Im going to do the whole front and plus put in a melling 360 oil pump to fix the oil pressure issue. This should, hopefully, be a lasting repair. Good luck to you.

keep me posted . i would like to do everything on the front. phasers, chains,, solenoids and tensioners

im locking mine out and tuning it, tuning it anyhow and never have to mess with them again.
