Help?

Truck runs fine. Check engine light stuck on (wrench light too). Shows P2106 code. Throttle body sensor is new and not the cause. How likely is it the PCM? Can't take emissions test.

Possible causes

Throttle Actuator Control Motor is stuck open or closed
Faulty Throttle Actuator Control Motor
Throttle Actuator Control Motor harness is open or shorted
Throttle Actuator Control Motor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

Not a sensor issue. May be the throttle actuator motor or the throttle body itself. May be a wiring issue.

Wouldn't run well if those were the case would it? Over 191,000 miles and runs pretty good. I wouldn't be messing with it except I need to get an emissions test
