Upper control arm help

Hey everyone
Replaced most of the front end ladt month and now it's time for the upper control arm.
I've heard some say you have to remove the struts amd others say, you can get the wrenches on the bolts and the head of the screw while intact. Anyone have experience with it or advice to make it simple 😀

You can get the wrench on the bolt but someone needs to post a pic on how to get the bolt out with the strut still in the truck.
If you have the ability to change the UCA pulling the strut is not that big of a deal.

I too was able able to loosen the nut off the bolt but I couldn't find a way to get the bolt out without removing the strut. Just remove the strut and save yourself the aggravation and time. Like Donnie said, if your know how to replace the UCA, the strut isn't a big deal. I think the bottom nut on the strut that holds it to the LCA is a 29mm, that's not a typical size most people have in their arsenal. You might want to double check before you start.
