Low beam headlight help.

Hello everyone new to the forum.

I have googled my backside off on this. Hopefully someone here has the answer.

I went to install led headlights on my 05 150. I installed the drivers side light and adapter. Turned on the lights and the drivers side light stayed on for all of 10 seconds then went out. Fast forward to now and all lights work except for the drivers side low beam. No power to the socket or fuse by way of test light. This truck does have drl's

I can't spend a week and $1000 at the dealer or $1000 throwing parts at it till I get the right part. I can't find the wiring diagrams online that I need.

This is the way I think that this light system works (correct me if I'm wrong). Headlight switch to multifunction switch to drl module then splits to left and right then to fuse box then to headlight housing. Am I missing something? My thought is drl module, but don't want to waste time and money.

Thanks in advance.

Beers To You

I hope this gives you a starting point to testing your circuit.

Which brand of LED did you use?

I am using these which I found on Amazon.com. Currently listed @ $19.99.

Thanks for that info. It seems the circuit board in the fuse box got burnt on the D/S headlight from the led kit I used. They are Hikari H13 and Hikari anti-flicker can bus adapters on Amazon. So now tring to find a company to fix the fuse box as it is obsolete from Ford. I've not gotten any response from the seller on Amazon.

Try car-part.com. They have listings from junkyards nationwide. I looked for yours, they have both cabin and engine fuse boxes for a 2005 F-150.

LKQ is kinda expensive in my experience.
