Here we go- 2007 F150 5.4L 4WD
Went out the other day for errands came home went out about 15 minutes later and the truck wont start. Put my charger on for a couple minutes then switched the charger over to engine start and nothing. Pulled my other vehicle over for a jumpstart and nothing once again. Yes I had a good steel ground on the truck, any ideas here?
Thanks in advance

Please explain a little better. Is it making any noise at all, clicking, trying to turn the engine over? Have you checked the cable connections at the starter? If the battery is suspect at all, pull it and take it to Autozone or similar place for a free load test.
If it does absolutely nothing, put it in Neutral and try it, wiggling the shifter up and down a bit. The MLPS may be going bad or out of adjustment.

I talked to these guys at the auto parts store I have been dealing with for years and they are good. They said the batteries made today go without warning whatsoever, duh I totally forgot about my and my friends experience with batteries over 5 years old. Going tomorrow morning and pick up a new one.
Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it.

Here we go again
I posted yesterday about a potential battery problem due to the vehicle not cranking. Took the old battery back where I got it for a core charge, come to find out the guy said it is only 2 years old. He decided to run a load test which came out fine 600+ CCA, 12.7V. He lent me a new battery which I installed and still nothing. They mentioned about tapping on the starter while someone attempts to start it due to sticky brushes in the starter. I do have a Fluke multimeter to test if anyone has ideas.
Thanks
Thanks
Have you checked the battery cables at both ends? What exactly happens when the ignition key is turned to start? Any clicks? Lights on the dash go out?
Sounds like a little electrical troubleshooting is in order.

Do what ROADIE suggest. I myself thinks the starter is bad. You should of posted your problem in the first thread you started.

Haven't been able to work on the truck lately due to Dr appts and other commitments also the weather hasn't been too cooperative here lately. Been using the wife's van to run around in. I just cant jump into things like I used to due to health problems, I logged all the possible remedies that you all have mentioned and it is a matter of getting under the truck when I feel good due to arthritis issues. I appreciate all the suggestions that have been offered.
