So, when I turn off the ignition and open my door on my '06 F150 Supercrew, the radio does not turn off, the windows will still go up and down, dome light and light above the bed do not turn on. I have searched for the "purple wire splice" just before the C pillar and I do NOT have the splice. I have traced the "purple" wire from where it emerges from the C pillar up to the front kick panel by the drivers feet. I have checked the accessory relay and it is good. Opening the passenger door(s) doesn't do anything as well. When I open any of the doors, the door chime DOES work so the switches in the doors are good. Door locks and mirrors still function properly. Any other thought or ideas? I am tired of my battery going dead!

 

Did you have any luck? I am in Sandy. Kinda sounds like the issue I have occasionally. My ignition doesn't know it is actually off. I wiggle the key as I take it out. Send me a message if you need any more help.
