$600 to replace all 8 plugs and coils with OEM parts is a decent deal.

Got my truck back and yes it was the plugs.
Thanks for everyone's input as you were correct.

I'm glad the cost was only $600 out the door, tax included.

I submitted my my Ford claim for the spark plug class action suit, and hopefully I will see my $3.60 check before the end of the year, haha.

Same Issue

I have the same issue with my 2006 F150, I have replaced all 8 coils and plugs(my mechanic did) with the ford OEM plugs and coils. I still have the same problem. It is driving me crazy. What else can it be? Fuel Injector? I have had it at the dealership twice and they never get a code. Any help or thoughts are appreciated.

Without knowing if they looked at the misfire counts for each cylinder to be sure their are none or they are low and within limits, it's hard to know what to do..
Diagnostics must be done to see the fault otherwise it's just guessing or luck.
Codes are only the 'first level' of diagnostics. Never stop at that level or you have what you have.
A Scanner in the hands of someone who knows how to interpret the data is the only way.
This is often the bigger issue until that is done.
I know it's difficult to challenge a dealer service department as a customer but it has to be done by some one.
Good luck.

Bluegrass, it is going to a different dealership on Monday to see what they can pull off of it. Just a headache.

Ok all it was a bad coil on Cylinder 4. Coil changed and it runs like a dream again. Too bad I traded it in on a new 216 SuperCrew 4x4 a week later. the incentives and 0% were too good to pass up!!

At least you have learned something about all this for the future and the dealer shop hopefully has learned to be more helpful for their customers with better work.
.
Good luck with the new machine.
