Small whine

Small whine

hello I'm new to the site, I have a 2004 f150 XL theirs a small whine coming from the front end of my truck it happens when the truck is going anywhere from 10-30 mph and some days their is no noise at all any help would be appreciated

Hard to diagnose that one. Could be the alternator or belt tension pulley. You may have to wait and see if it gets any worse. If it doesn't get worse, it's a non-problem. If it gets worse it will be easier to diagnose.

I don't think it has anything to do with the engine because i put the truck in neutral and turned it off while it was rolling and it still made the noise

Turn right and left to find out if the noise changes and report back.

The noise is a little louder when I turn to the right but still audible when I turn to the left it doesn't make the noise when the vehicle is stopped and turning the wheel I have a video of it I will try to upload it later on today

Beginning to sound like a front wheel bearing, maybe the left side.
