I was driving stopped at a stop sign hit the gas and it felt like it was in neutral.
I checked fluid it was fine. Then checked all the gear I still have reverse.
There was no slipping no indication it was going to go out just stopped working no Drive I would really appreciate if someone could help now because I'm at a loss here

 

by saying checked all the gears is this a manual? or i see you mention drive a bit later is it an auto?
any whine/squeel/smoke/stink when you hit the gas?
Did it happen again, and or does it catch as the revs are coming back down? or is it not working at all?
