I have a 2004 f150 and just recently the reverse lights were flickering while truck was off and now they won't turn off at all. After I shut the truck off the radio will turn back on after a while and the gauges will go back and forth and "check gauges" message pops up on the dash and all the dash lights are flickering at this time. It will stop after a few seconds and go back to normal then back to flickering and what not. Sometimes it won't do it at all. I can't imagine what it is, not an electrical person but it's really weird
