How do I lower the rear end of my truck?

So I have a 2005 F150 supercrew that is already leveled with some 2WD ubolts. But I want it a couple of inches lower in the rear to make it squat more. What would be the best way to go about doing this?

Easiest way would be to do a shackle drop -- you should be able to get another 1-1/2" - 2" of drop out of that.

Shackles will net another 2" drop. But can negatively effect payload because they're longer than stock. As long as you aren't maxing the payload out you should be fine

OK. Well I never tow anything unless it's my jetski trailer so that should not be a issue. Is there a good brand to look for? Never done anything with shackles before

Ground Force is good, be sure you get the shims and install them. Comes as a kit.

I've had Rough Country lowering shackles for about 20K miles and no issues. Rear end seemed to move a little more on some heavy duty bumps but haven't had any issues towing trailers or loading motorcycles. Drove from CO to TX a couple of times with 800lbs in the bed with no issues. Not bad for $50.
