2004 f150 xl 4.6

good evening ford owners, i have had my 04 f150 for 6 years now, one of the best trucks I've ever owned,. i have recently swapped out engines and installed new cat converters as they were both needed. i have recently bumped into a frustrating problem with my battery light coming on permanently on my dash, i switched out the battery and alternator thinking it was these that were causing this mayhem, but still have my battery light on dash, any advice as to what can be the issue?? thank you all

Just Spit balling here but have you tried disconnecting/reconnecting and cleaning the battery terminals? Also have you check for a pinched or corroded wire?

i took out my fuse box, going through each and every one of them, found a couple blown, and switched out the PCM #r203 relay, haven't installed yet due to rain, hopefully this would be the issue, also i have been thinking about swapping out the fuse-link going from starter, alternator to battery due to research that i have done, i have seen posts where guys replace battery and alt, and still get the battery light on dash, as of now i have installed 3 alternators and none work, im starting to think this wasn't the problem to begin with
