Will remote start work with factory keypad?

Looking at this:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_220CA51...rm-CA5154.html

It's just a remote start, no alarm. I've read on here that people have issues once they install a remote start/alarm that the factory door keypad can't be used to unlock/lock the car anymore.

Since this is just a remote start, would everything still function OK? Meaning I can use the factory keypad to lock/unlock?

I bought a Viper remote start and the factory keypad works just fine. The Viper key fob replaced the OEM key fob thought.

Thanks, I figured as much.

I just ordered the remote start and the interface module (lets you interface directly with the trucks CAN bus) and it also defeats the VATS electronically. Also they say install will be much easier because I don't need to splice into wires for most of it(CAN bus will do door locks, tach, etc.)

I also called Crutchfield, they told me the keypad will still work.
