Hello all, I just installed the avital 4003L in my 2007 f150, which I might say was cumbersome because of the activation input wire .

well manual says to hook it to a negative pulsing source, I'm using my key fob to start it so after doing a lot of research the best place to hook it to would be the door lock wire or the locking motor wire, that way after pulsing the lock button a few time it would start.

those wires have a negative current going through them all the time, and not just when pulsed.
so it will start motor then immediately shut off motor.

I hooked activation input wire to hook output wire which works great but I have to push panic button to get it to work. panic is really loud lol.

is there a way to get the locking wire to work.
when hooking to lock wires I hooked them up at the side of the driver seat under that plastic step panel.
would there be another place for those wire that would be better? like at the BCM? if so where at the BCM?
