Sweet truck! How are the tires on the highway?
I don't have any experience with them yet but I'm interested as well. I recently found a ripped cv boot on my front passenger side as well.

I like it. Any rubbing with that setup? I think I am going to get the 295/60s when it comes time for a new set on my truck.

As for the cv axles, I think you can get a new boot for it if there is nothing wrong with the axle itself.

tires are doing great. they make a little noise on the highway, but its the quietest mud tire ive ever heard. does not bother me one bit. i do rub the lower control arm at full lock.

does anyone make rack limiters for these trucks?

i broke down and bought ford axles. i still have a clunk coming from somewhere, usually hear it when backing up and turning, like to parallel park. no clue. checked the sway bar to frame mounts and i was able to snug them up some more but its still doing it. gonna put end links on it and see if that helps.

Might be a wild shot but check your lower control arm bolts. I've seen stranger things happen.

it was the lower control arm bolts. how wild is that? the factory lca bolt nuts are nylock nuts and i believe the torque spec is 140 ft lbs. i bought a moog camber kit, that replaces said bolts, and they are not nylock. the instructions said torque to 240-260 ft lbs. i was skeptical since its the same bolt i figured it may break. i figured this out after my alignment got off, wheel wasnt centered anymore. i put the front in the air and went over all bolts.

anyways all the lca bolts were loose, i torqued them to 250 and all is well. good to know for those of you installing camber kits.

I missed this post. Nice looking tires! I went with Nittos because Toyo didn't have the 295/60s out at the time. I think they put them out shortly before I had the Nittos mounted. I have had both M/Ts and love them both equally. The Nitto has a chunky mean looking tread and the Toyo side wall is my favorite in terms of applying tire protectant. The Nitto is a S.O.B.

My steering wheel is slightly off center too. I have it aligned with an amateur alignment I did in my garage after I replaced the tie rod ends, been wearing alright but the slight steering wheel issue bugs the heck out of me.

Same thing happened to me when I put ball joints on and remove lca to press the ball joints off and on.

i just replaced th whole axle when i got a hole in my cv boot. i bought a $70 one from advanced auto parts and so far no problems. seems like good quality.
