Tow Mirrors

Can anyone help me I am looking for tow mirrors and mainly I need it to have pretty much everything. I am wondering if the F250 mirrors might work with the truck. I do not mind doing wiring and I don't mind modifing the mirror or door to make it fit.

If you have an 04-08 f150, they're easy fine. Just look on eBay. If you have a 97-03 f150, well, you're in the wrong forum and I can't be of must assistance. There are several threads about them on this message board of you use the search function.

The 2008 F-150 models had tow mirrors available as an option, however they do NOT power fold/power extend like the SuperDuty's do (stupid move by Ford). You can find them fairly easily on eBay/Craigslist. I have them and love them, but I don't tow much that requires them to be extended. Love them for everyday driving though.

I used to have a pair as well and also loved them for everyday driving. Even when they were not extrended, I didn't really care for how much wider they made the truck. I recall another truck driving the opposite way one time were we actually slapped mirrors. Luckily, no damage other than a scuff.

After a while, I just didn't like how they looked on my little regular cab so I got rid of them.

Still, I miss how great they were as far as eliminating blind spots.
