It was early 2008 before the revised heads came out. Easy to check for, they have brown COP boots. That said, in my opinion, the plug issue was really blown out of proportion. Something that should never have happened, but it's not much of a problem if you use your noggin in changing the plugs.

 

Just get a Tundra and call it a day. Not saying its any better than the F150s of any year. They just have higher resale value when you get tired of sticking money into it. Something to consider.
