Dreaded CHT sensor replacement

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have some words of wisdom or tips on removing and installing the intake manifold on my 5.4. I received a CEL which was P0119 code. So I am changing the CHT sensor and the harness with it.

Also where are these cracks occurring on these manifolds I keep reading about. Please note that before I decided to change out the sensor, my truck ran great with no issues even with the CEL on.

Thanks

Well, I completed the job, ran the truck up to temperature and no leaks or CELs. What a PITA that job was.

yes it is and what fun i get to do it again!! woo!

suuuuuuuuuuuuucks. hey do you have the part number for the harness? last time I just replaced the sensor itself and thought I fixed the the harness but I guess not. I was not the first one to change the sensor as it seemed it had been replaced before so I got lucky with the fact I didn't have to mess with the stupid loom on the back of the intake.
