Rebuilding front suspension on an 04 Supercrew

Well I finally broke down and rebuilt my suspension. I have a 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 Supercrew with 110k miles. I also have a leveling kit and 35's. I replaced upper and lower control arms with new bushings and ball joints, sway bar bushing and end links, tie rod ends, cv shafts, camber kits, axle support bushings, and new wheel bearings and hubs. I figured everything was shot, but everything seemed to be in ok shape except for the ball joints, end links, tie rod ends, and half shafts. I really expected my bushings to be shot! I did run into one problem, how are you guys pressing out the lower control arm bushings??? I thought I could use a ball joint press, but how wrong I was! I ended up just ordering all new lower control arms and autozone brought them to the house in 3 hours! Props to those guys!!! Also, can you guys think of anything else I should have done while I had it apart? I replaced everything with moog and Timken products. I really like having grease fittings, hopefully everything wil last longer!

Nice job. I'm thinking about rebuilding mine soon. How long did it end up taking you to finish the job?

Thanks man! All in all it took me about 8 hours without any breaks. It would not take as long if I had the proper tool to replace the axle pivot bushings and lower control arm bushings. Honestly, you are better off to buy the complete lower control arm with bushings and ball joints already installed. Rock auto sells the moog arm for $103 a side. I ended up buying mine from autozone for $200 a side. They were the only ones that could get it to me quick enough once I realized I couldn't press the bushings in and out with a ball joint press. I was able to press the axle pivot bushings in and out with it though.
