Exhaust Options

I've got a 4.2v6. It runs so smooth and quiet, but one thing I miss about having my V8 Durango is that sound of that flowmaster. The question is ....To Mod or NOt to mod this v6?

Can it get a powerful sound like that? Excuse me if this topic has been done before.

A V-6 will never sound like a V-8. This is my 4.2 with an exhaust:

Do it! I had a 4.2L and put a Magnaflow on. Sounded great! Just because it isn't a V8 doesn't mean it can't sound like one! You'll notice a difference in throttle and gas mileage too!

I had a Flowmaster 40 on mine and the drone was horrid... but I also did truck Staxx which doubled the horridness. So I dismantled it and went back to the stock suitcase muffler.

Been thinking of getting a Magnaflow kit and do an OEM route... not Staxx and see how it works out.
