OEM Harley tail lights, install problem
OEM Harley tail lights, install problem
Yeah, I am very surprised because I made it a point to buy OEM stuff for quality and fit.
Driver side Harley tail light goes in smooth, bulbs are nice and tight. Go to install the Passenger side, put the stock bulbs in and it's so loose that they can turn by not even turning them by hand! No way this is moisture tight! I went and took my stock tail lights to verify, and both of them on the passenger bulbs are nice and tight. Problem is Harley light looks like the blub flange is to thin, out of tolerance.
Surprised when buying OEM you can get this kind of spotty product as well! I contacted who I bought it from, hopefully, I will get a replacement.
Now my truck has one harley light on and one regular tail light, hehe.

OEM stuff is just like any other manufactured product -- there is a certain percentage that falls out of tolerance and works its way through the quality control process. Hopefully you can just exchange and be back in business!
