2 Part Question

#1 - I know there's conversion kits, upgrades, downgrades and everything in the middle. Long story short I bought my truck salvage. No frame damage mostly cosmetic with the exception of a tie rod and a control arm. It's got a lot of mods which is great in some ways. I'm still looking at what I can do with the front bumper without changing the new headlights I just added. Ideas?

Side note: I have the bumper itself with the lower valance. I'm still in need of the upper valance or bumper filler but looking at maybe something outside of OEM.

#2 - When I got my truck it had 35/12.50r18's I had to replace the tires quickly (snowed the day after I got it) So, got some 22's with Nitto 420s. Now I'm going back and forth trying to figure out which looks better. So, 18's with Grapplers? or 22's with some 325/55r22?

Side note: I didn't have a lot of turning radius with the 18's and gained a lot of that back with the 22's - so leaning towards the 22's but looking for opinions

18's?? (My truck)

22's - (Another truck with the 325/55r22 style tires and rims)

It's close, but I'm going to say I like the 22's slightly better.

The oe front plastic upper bumper pad can be easily found. Here's one I found in less than 20 seconds. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=291402921159

Make sure you get one from an 04-05. 06-08 mount differently I believe. Also, make sure you get one with or with out holes for the wheel well moldings if you have, or do not have them.

Search 04-05 f150 upper bumper pad. You may even find one in good condition that's the same color.

I think sticking with the oe style will look best.

Yep - I had found that listing and a few others. Nothing locally but not too hard to find to get shipped in. I found them all the way up to 08 with and without holes for the wheel well moldings for a bolt and go. I am partial to the oe bumper look. Just exploring....

Yeah, they're plastic so it's pretty light. As I said, make sure, if you get one, to get an 04-05. 06+ won't work.
