Radio replacement
Radio replacement
After diagnosing my parasitic power drain, it is my radio. AM/FM 6 CD - the original 2005 audio system. I want to replace it with a basic radio, single CD, blue tooth. I am ok with aftermarket - does not have to be FoMoCo.
Suggestions?
Update: After looking at used radios, which could have the same problem as my old radio, I decided on GLC's advice and went to Crutchfield. I got a radio with much more capability than a Ford replacement, with a year warranty, and, as he mentioned, the service is outstanding. All for under $200.00.

You may think you are overpaying at Crutchfield, but you get a full install kit and detailed instructions as part of the package, plus phone support if you need it. You have to look at the whole picture, not just the $$ amount for the unit with no support.
