front rumble/vibration...

OK, so I put on a 6" rough country lift on my 2008 screw. all went well other than weather interfering (this will play in later).

all in and up and looking good. aligned and running well except for a "rumble/vibration" coming from what appears to be the left front. well, remember the weather? well my buddy put the left knuckle out in anticipation of the install and rain hit. thought I got it in time but apparently not so some water got in. my bad.

now here's the thing. while I had the rumble, the truck rolls fine, brakes fine, gas mileage no different, 4x4 appears to engage/disengage properly. but, I had a long drive of 250 miles each way, and about halfway through the rumble went away. gone. quiet as ever.

figuring it was a bad hub, I ordered a new pair and installed them last sunday. test drive, quiet as ever. problem solved right? nope. today, rumble slowly came back. not as bad as before, but back. am at a loss.

vacuum on the actuator is fine. brakes are new last year. 4x4 solenoid new 2 years ago.

tightened the bolts all around after the lift and the long drive.

am at a complete loss. ideas?

thanks in advance!
