Fuel pump brands_Delphi, Precision (O'Reilly) or ?

Need an electric fuel pump.
AutoZone carries Delphi.
O'Reilly only has house brand - Precision. Both the same price.

What are some thoughts on these fuel pumps?

Should I look for another brand? There are other stores - not as close.

Thanks.

Well - Delphi is an OEM supplier.

Thanks. OK - but the units Delphi makes for car mfgs & the units made for retail auto stores don't necessarily have the same quality specs.
They might, but don't have to. That's fairly common in manufacturing.

Any info is helpful, but I'd guess that comparing pumps sold thru parts stores would be more "apples to apples."

Maybe there are after market brands of pumps considered more reliable?
Or almost none hold up as well as OEM?

Thanks, but nope - haven't looked anywhere except Auto Zone & O'Reilly. I've heard of Rock Auto. I can - but was looking for feedback on specific brands that people have used for a lot of miles (& they've held up) or maybe from mechanics that have preferences.

Granted.

Sounds like you need to get a Motorcraft unit, then.
