knock sensor

A few days ago I got a check engine light which turned out to be P0325. Yesterday the check engine light turned off and no more code. My brother was thinking that this could indicate a short but I've seen other people have the same thing happen with no problems after. I'm not sure what to think of it.

The first thing I would do is to go check the connector. I've found that a LOT of times faults like this are due to connectors that were damaged by ham fisted mechanics that just YANK them off instead of taking the time to release them properly. They break the latches and/or lose the rubber seal that is supposed to be in them and then they won't seal properly and get moisture in them and that corrodes the contacts and you start getting erratic readings.
