And on the front bumper, you said it's chrome. So if the gray primer?

I've thought about PTMing my front and rear, but the painted bumpers chip easily and I'd have to replace my textured upper bumper since it's not paint able. Then I'd need new wheels to match. Haha. One thing leads to another.
The grey is a wheel paint actually.

The body is solid, just minor rust. This truck was cared for really well by the previous owner. Same with frame, only surface.

Idk, I might use por15. I figure on doing the work in early summer. Want to catch it before it goes further and save the money. I'll be trying to do a good job but keep cost down since I'm buying a truck soon

Looks impressive! I also have a SCAB with the 5.5 bed and didn't know if I would like the look of it lifted being such a short wheel base, but after seeing yours I like it! What side badges do you have? They don't look stock. Also what size LED lights did you put in the opening of you bumper, behind the little "grills"? I want to put some there too. Any pics of how you mounted them?

thanks! I love the look of the lifted scab. The badges are 09+. I bought them off ebay around 30 bucks a piece. The leds behind the little grills i believe are 4" if i remember correctly. If you look into the opening, youll see a flat surface under each one..enough to drill a hole for each to mount. but i no longer use them because my bull bar blocks them from the front

$30 per badge?? That's a steal! I'd love to put some 09+ badges on but can't locate any for less than $50. Maybe I'm being too picky by wanting the XLT ones.

Looks good. I've always liked the 2004 XL trucks as they came standard with the PTM upper bumper and chrome front and rear bumpers. They changed to the black textured upper bumper and gray bumpers (optinal chrome) in 2005.

Thanks for the link. $30 for the tailgate, $42 for each side badge = $114 for stinkin badges, lol. Can't justify it just yet, have some things that need replacing first.

Thanks. I honestly would really have preferred the black and grey. Hated that chrome. I don't like chrome on much of anything personally. I don't really care what this truck looks like, so I must have hated it to bother removing it hahahah
