Can't Decide On New Rims

Been going back and forth the past few months on whether I should get new rims or not. I like to keep things stock where feasible, but I'm getting tired of my truck's rims. I like the overall design, but I hate the fake plastic imitation lug nuts. I know it isn't a big deal, but it just bothers me like fake hood scoops do.

I've done a lot of looking, and here are the 4 that I like in no particular order:

1. Black Rhino - Imperial

2. Black Rhino - Lucerne

3. Weld - T50

4. Weld - T55

This is what the truck looks like now. I think that the Lucernes would look the best, but I really like the style of the T50s. Whatever I decide to go with I want them to be stock like the factory ones in regards to diameter, width, offset, etc.

What do you guys think? I'm open to other options that are similar to the ones that I posted.

The T50s would definitely look good with bigger off-road tires, but I don't think they would look right with stock-sized tires. Any reason you aren't wanting to change tire size?

Also, your truck (like mine) has the FX4 luxury package. Personally, I would stick to machined or painted aluminum rather than polished. Just my preference, but I don't think chrome rims look good on a very color-matched two-tone truck. Solid black, red, or dark shadow grey maybe....

I voted for the imperials.

I voted for Imperial

They look much easier to clean than the second one down

The other two I don't like at all

I liked the stockers, I had the same wheel on my 07 and it was dark blue pearl also. The imperial looks more like a truck wheel, and the t 50 looks like a race wheel that belongs on the strip. The lucerne looks like it belongs on a buick.

I don't like oversized wheels on non-lifted trucks, and I don't like lifted trucks for everyday drivers. Yeah, I'm hesitant with the T50 and T55 because of the chrome. Thank you for the input.

Good point. I didn't think about cleaning.

The Lucerne does remind me a lot of a stock wheel that GMC used on the Sierras. Good points.

I think the Weld wheels (esp those pictured) just look odd on most modern trucks. They can pull it off on the pre-97 Ford trucks, but they look out of place to me on 97+ body styles. I'm not a fan of the styling of most Weld wheels anyway, but they're great if you need lightweight wheels for the strip.

Yeah. You're probably right. I see the T50 style rims on a lot of the 05-07 SuperDutys and I always thought they looked pretty good. The more I look at them though I think they would look out of place. I think I have narrowed it down to one of the Black Rhino styles.

Actually, they remind me more of the King Ranch wheels from back in '03 or so.
