Well something happened, my truck drove fine until I got home. Parked it and went inside to eat. Came back out to go to a buddy's house. Hopped on in, fired it up put it in reverse.. Then the truck took about 6 seconds to shift in to reverse. Started backing down the alley the. Wrench light, engine light and flashing OD came on. My programmer wouldn't read the transmission fault but the engine code was a po720 output shaft speed sensor. Drove it around the block in forward with no troubles or anything unusual. Light go off as well when I kill the truck. Just no reverse, if you give it gas about 2k rpm it'll slowly back up and shudder. What could be the issue?

 

Gotta get a better scanner to read the fault code. The cheap ones only do basic OBD II codes. Probably need an overhaul though. Never know though. Have the codes pulled. Could go to a couple Transmission shops and get quotes get them to give you the fault code then research it..

 

same story with mine. I ended up buying a new tranny.
