'05 gas gauge problem or fuel pump?
New to the site to hopefully you guyscan help me trouble shoot a problem.
my fuel gauge has been acting up - reading over full mostly. some times off by 1/2 or 1/4 off what I know I have in tank by mileage. Occasionally a dealer test sweep of the gauges will correct it but only for a short while.
any tried and true ways to confirm what need to be repaired and if it is a DIY task?
*truck has been skipping as well ( no codes, have changed 3 of 8 coil packs to date - not sure if skipping could be related to a potential fuel pump or gauge issue or some other problem I don't know about yet
