He just got those tires! Which look perfectly fine to me They're as big as 315/70/17s that a ton of guys run, just a shade under 35"

I am kind of getting the urge to bump up the front 1" with some Bilsteins and put an add-a-leaf in the back and throw on some 37's. But I don't think the wife would agree with me. I just spent over 2k on my truck in about 2 weeks and we're about to buy a house. So, I think I'm stuck with small mods for now.

Hopefully I can find some used Harley headlights for cheap, that's what I'm looking at next. Or a bull bar. Can't decide.

I love the look of a bull bar, but I hate losing my tow hooks.
But, since I will probably never off-road anywhere where I will need to use them, I will probably be alright.

When I first saw the flaresides I wasn't a huge fan of them but over time they have grown on me. BlackFX4, your's I now love the look of, its not overly done with the lift, it's just right. Can't wait to see what else your going to do.

You can do a Smittybilt light bar and keep the tow hooks. I like the looks of those better too, personally. Choice was easy for me cause I didn't have tow hooks lol

Thanks, ninjaguy! I love the way my truck looks now. I still have plenty of mods I want to do, but nothing gaudy. I'm like you, I like the simple look.

Well, it's been a while since I've updated my build page.. Not much has happened. Only modification I've made is a sound system.
First, I bought a box for 2 10" subs from eBay for $100. Then, I ordered a Kenwood double din stereo from Amazon for $120, and another eBay find, a Hifonics 1000.1 amplifier for $120. And finally, my dad gave me a couple MTX Blue Thunder subs.

Its a pretty cheap setup for around $350 and sounds pretty decent.

Thanks, I haven't gotten to do much to it in the last few months.. Just a sounds system and played around with some plasti-dip on my wheels..
I've kind of put everything on hold since we bought a house back in May and we just had our first baby boy back in October.

I plan on some time next year, lifting the front 1.5" and an add-a-leaf in the rear to make room for 37s.

Its been quite a few months since my last update, not much new..
My ball joints were starting to fail starting about 4-5 months ago, which was causing uneven wear on my tires which were getting pretty low to begin with. So I bought new lower ball joints, upper control arms, inner and outer tie rods and some new tires.

So, I decided to pull the trigger on some 37x13.50x18 Toyo Open Country MTs.. To those skeptics out there, it is possible to fit 37s on a 6" lift! Minor plastic/metal trimming behind the tire needed, but now there is no rubbing at full lock either side. If you're wanting to go up a tire size, and aren't afraid to cut a little on your truck, I would definitely say go for it. I'm very happy with the result!

Here are some pics:

Looks awesome!! Great choice on the 37's. Love the look of a more filled out bottom half.
