Quick Question

So I picked up some new oil and filter, 5 quart jug motorcraft 5 20 and motorcraft filter, but I accidently grabbed 2 quarts of 5 30, didn't realize it til the bottles were empty, will this have any unwanted effects? I mean I got 206k on the truck but just hoping not to mess anything up....more for moral support from you folks lol

I am sure some A$$ clown will tell you to trade the truck and or replace the motor.

Really you will be just fine, just change oil at proper interval and add the correct 5w-20 next time. If your that concerned just drain and replace with another 5qt of 5w-20.

Between most of it being correct and your high mileage, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'd trade it off before you have to replace an engine !

Sorry just wanted to see what it was like to be an A$$ clown. As for your truck, like they have all said you'll be fine.

haha I figured someone would go to that extreme...I thought I read that I should be fine, talked to a buddy who works on them he said its all good. I keep it on a 3k interval so it won't be that long til its ready. GLC yes motocraft was that choice for all. As for trading, no payments truck runs good and still looks pretty good minus a ding and dent maybe a scratch so why get rid of it lol

Thanks again
