spare tire well and aftermarket tires

Will a 35 inch tire fit in the spare tire well underneath the truck bead? If a 35 is to big what's the biggest tire that will fit?
My reason for asking is when I have saved enough money, I'm either going to do 33's with leveling shocks, or 35's and a lift kit.
In either case I want a full sized spare so this will mean buying 5 new tires.

I believe most of the 35's will fit, but it's awfully close to the exhaust which could melt a hole, cause deformation, or at worst, catch on fire (say goodbye to the truck). Why not just use the factory spare and rotate a wheel to the back if one of the rears gets a flat? You don't want to run different sized tires on the rear limited-slip differential because it will burn up the clutches, but you can run them on the front wheels all day long as long as you don't put it in 4WD.

Also, to be honest, a new wheel and 35" tire is pretty expensive . . . that pays for several years of roadside assistance without you having to get dirty. Just a thought.

Exact!!

32" fit easy (stock size), 33" should fit easy too...but 35" forget about it.

I have a 285/70/17 under my truck now. I could get 295/70 under there if needed. A 35? Not sure.

When I do a lift and 35s, I'm leaving the stock tire there and just using AAA to come get me. It's not worth $400 to me to buy a 5th mud tire. Otherwise, I'd just put the spare with 35 in the bed and lock it up cause I wouldn't want to risk putting a tire that big back there.
