2006 f150 4x4 grinding noise while braking

Having an issue with my truck. Tried several things none of which solved the issue so I decided to join here and ask tap into other knowledge.

So about a couple weeks ago I heard a grinding noise from the front end as I was stopping. So naturally I assumed the brakes. I replaced the brakes and rotors. Got in the truck went on test drive and to my disappointment noise was still present.

So I then replaced the IWE solenoid. That didn't work.

So then replaced wheel hub bearing assemblies. That didn't work.

Only thing I haven't replaced is the IWE hubs. Don't really think it's those because I did the jack up the front end and roll the tires test and it passed that.

Also what makes think it is not the hubs is that the grinding noise is only present when I am stopping. Noise is only present when under 10mph with brakes applied. Once I let off the brakes the noise goes away.

So here is my problem.

Any ideas???

Nope. Just a loud grinding noise of metal on metal. More like when your brake pads have wore completely to the metal.

Check the shield behind the rotor. Might be bent, causing rotor to rub it.
