2004 F150 lower radiator hose problem

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of changing my radiator due to the surge tank nipple breaking off in the hose. But on the new radiator I got, something isn't right. I know it's the right radiator, but the lower hose flange is 1 3/4 inch on the new one, and the old one is 1 1/2. So it doesn't fit. The new lower hose I got for it is also 1 1/2. The only hose I found that actually measures 1 3/4 is direct from Ford. Anyone else done this? The lower hose is a PITA to take off the block, and I don't want to if I don't have to. The two radiators are identical, except for that one small detail. And the hose I ordered fits the old radiator and is the same hose that's on the truck now. But the new radiator measures 1 3/4. Everything else fits perfectly except that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's the 1" core thickness by the way.

2 choices - get a different radiator or different hose.

I'd go with option #1; different rad.

I'm not quite sure how option #2 would go with a 1 3/4" hose, when the truck's block is going to 1 1/2". Unless there's something else involved; like the new hose is 1 1/2" at one end and then gets bigger and goes to 1 3/4" on the other end.

Update: We stretched the 1 1/2" hose onto the 1 3/4" radiator. It was tight and I don't think it's coming off anytime soon. Everywhere I looked showed a radiator for that with a 1 3/4" outlet though.
