New truck mod suggestions

Hey everyone gonna pick up an 06 f150 xlt super cab tomorrow. White 4x4. I want to pick up the KMD SD series monster wheels and some 35" tires. I plan on also adding a 2.5" leveling lift from rough country. I want to be able to fit 35s and not have to worry about rubbing. What size wheels should I get 20x9? Or do I need to go bigger for 35's? Any opinions and advice appreciated.

20x9 will be fine. The offset is what you are going to have to worry about to run 35's. I would think with just about any offset and 35's with only a level that you are likely to have some kind of rubbing. A negative offset is likely to rub plastic, which you can trim. A positive offset (depending on the width of the tire) may rub the UCA, which you obviously can't trim. Hopefully someone with a similar setup can chime in on what offset worked best for them.

Also, while you are waiting on replies, search the forum for people running 35's with a level and see what offset their wheels are.

If your heart isn't set on a true 35" tire, I'm running 295/60R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers, which according to Nitto, the specs are 34.45" tall x 12.13" wide. I have a 2" level and they fit fine without trimming on stock wheels. For reference, stock wheels have a +44 offset. I only rub on the UCA at full lock.
