So I'm painting my console chrome parts and I've got the whole shifter out except for the base plate where the overdrive button is connected to. I can't seem to figure out how to take out the button and I need to put it all back together by 3 so I can drive to school for my class. How does it disconnect?

Do you have pics or instructions for someone else with this same problem?

 

I finished the project and will post pictures and a how to in a separate thread. Look for it later tomorrow night.
