Does anyone have a write up how-to on replacing the door latch that incorporates the dome light/door ajar switch? I have sprayed mine with WD-40, Kroil, PB Blaster, Brake Cleaner, Canned Air, and the door ajar light continues to go on and off as I drive.

My 2006 has the same problem, I sprayed it and it started working, for a while. I ordered the part, now I'm trying to figure out how to remove and replace it. I pulled the door panel and found the switch, took the connector off, plugged in the new switch, everything started working like a charm. It seems to be a twist on/off deal. but I can't get it to budge, and I don't want to break anything else. If anybody can offer any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
