The PCV is integrated into the driver's side valve cover. It is non-serviceable so they would have to replace the whole thing. I'm thinking that is the problem. I don't have any leaks. The excessive oil consumption probably killed one of the CATs.

How much longer is your powertrain under warranty? I figure you've hit 5 years already, but maybe remember you saying you got an extended?

Yeah. I bought it as a Certified Pre-Owned. It has the 7-year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. The original 5-year warranty just expired last month, so now I have to pay the $100 detectable that comes with the 100,000 mile warranty each time I take it in.
