Problem with 4x4

Need some help guys. Have a 2007 f150 Harley and am having a problem with 4x4. I recently went up in size on my tires from 275-45-22 to 285-45-22. Went to my mechanic he scanned the car and had nothing pop up. He Prut the car on the lift and all four tires are spinning correctly, tires are on the correct side and direction as well as pressure being correct. But driving today in the snow my rear is all over the road and it seems like the front isn't working. I'm wondering if the change in tire size is the problem or if anyone has had a similar issue. Feedback would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

the 04-08 trucks are known to have issues with the hub. Going 10mm wider on a tire isn't going to change anything at all. Just chalk it up to a coincidence.

It sounds like the 4WD actuator is broken. There is one on each Hub. They are plastic and tend to break in half. Google the fix. There is a link on here that shows exactly how to fix it. I used it and was great.

Take the hub actuator out and inspect it. If there's any dirt in it, it will clog and disallow the actuator to "actuate". Please don't take it somewhere and spend four figures on it without having a handy buddy or someone credible inspect it first to give an opinion.
