Heat issue

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem.
So I set the digital thermostat to the temp I want, as I’m driving down the road and the truck is nice and toasty and it seems like the A/C is kicking in.
The heating system only seems to do this when the cab has warmed up, so I don’t know if the truck is trying to cool down the cab or what. It gets to a point where I crank up the heat to keep the cab warm. When the temp is turned up the cab warms up again but as soon as it gets toasty its like the A/C kicks in again.
Anyone have or heard of this issue or anything similar??
This really sucks when it’s -10 outside.
Thanks in advance!
