Hi.

Explain "out", lol.

While the rears are primarily monitors and you could get away with replacing just one, ideally replacing in pairs is recommended - Especially for the fronts - always replace those in pairs ( how many miles on the fronts? If yer approaching 80-100k, they are getting lazy - time to replace.)

Motorcraft only - here's why: http://vmptuning.com/forum/showthread.php?t=825

good luck

lol not sure, just got the code and check engine light. I know it can just be a connection or open wire. I was just assuming the worst. Thanks for the help!

If the leads are long enough on the front O2's, you can move them to the rear and put new ones in the front.

What was the exact code?

Just to save you some money. The rear O2's have very little to do with managing your air/fuel, they simply measure catalyst efficiency. The front O2's will benefit from new ones, so you move the working fronts to the rear to eliminate the issue that's tripping the code.

Yes, they have quick connectors, but the actual leads on the sensors may not be long enough to reach. Electrically, front and rear sensors are identical.
