Angry Help! Starter Problems!

Hey! Really needing some help here. Heres an explanation of what went wrong.

Ive got a 2007 F-150 5.4L V8, super crew cab and I work on the rigs and was in the bush when I believe my solenoid went, as I was able to jump the solenoid from under the truck but the ignition wouldn't work. I ran a wire from the positive on the battery to a button, and another from the solenoid post to the button and used this as means to start it until I got out of the bush to get it fixed.

I purchased a new starter/solenoid and mounted it rather than trying to remove just the solenoid. And still nothing... Is there a relay somewhere that might have blown during all of this? If so where is it located? Could there be any oter issues causing this..

I read a similar post to this but her issue was fixed by replacing the starter/solenoid. And hers was acting up prior to it going completely. I never had an issues ever with mine until I stopped to fuel up. And it wouldn't start again. No funny sounds. no weak starts nothing.

well since you were able to appy power to the solenoid @ the starter, your old starter was still good, you probably have a broken wire from going to the starter signal post(small wire on solenoid) i would follow that wire and make sure it didn't get cut or rubbed through on something

i think there is also a starter relay in the fuse panel behind the passenger side kick panel. i would try swapping it with another relay and see if it starts with the key.
